The Melville Community Men’s Shed has reopened following upgrade works that will help support members and volunteers for years to come.

I was pleased to deliver $50,000 with the Cook Labor Government to support improvements at the Shed, including a new dust extraction system to make the workshop safer and more comfortable for members.

Men’s Sheds play an important role in our community. They bring people together, reduce isolation and support men’s health and wellbeing.

It’s fantastic to see the Melville Community Men’s Shed back open and welcoming members again after the refurbishment works.

A big thank you to everyone involved in getting the Shed back up and running, especially the dedicated members and volunteers who keep it going.
