Did you know you could have unclaimed money waiting for you? Around $190 million is currently held by the WA Government.

Unclaimed money can come from things like closed bank accounts, lost shares, insurance payouts or other payments that couldn’t be returned to their rightful owner.

Some of that money belongs to people right here in our community.

In Applecross alone, more than 3,000 unclaimed payments are currently waiting to be claimed. In Kardinya, there are 1,960.

Checking is quick and easy through the WA Government’s Unclaimed Money Search. All you need to do is enter your name to see if any funds are waiting to be returned.
