A re-elected Cook Labor Government will build a new $30 million State Emergency Management Training Centre.

Here, our frontline career firefighters and volunteers will get hands-on training to prepare for natural disasters and keep our communities safe.

It’s just another way the Cook Labor Government will back our first responders and bolster our state’s emergency services to keep you and your loved ones safe.

The Centre will simulate natural disasters like storms, floods, cyclones and bushfires, giving first responders the best possible preparation for a natural disaster.

It’s part of our $96.6 million package for fire and emergency services across the state, which includes funding for four new fire stations, upgraded facilities and enhanced emergency response capacity to keep communities safe.
